About Dr. Clark
Dr. Clark is a long-time resident of the Bangor area and is affiliated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology. As a Doctor of Osteopathy, she emphasizes a whole-person approach to patient care. She earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Millcreek Community Hospital.
She practices at Vision Care of Maine’s Bangor office located at 1 Ridgewood Drive and is affiliated with Northern Light Health facilities in Maine.

Dr. Clark grew up in Hermon and graduated as valedictorian in 1999. She went on to attend the University of Maine on scholarship, earning her degree summa cum laude in 2003 with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Committed to remaining in Maine for her medical education, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England in 2008.

A Family Legacy in Eye Care
Dr. Clark has long taken pride in being part of the family tradition at Vision Care of Maine. Before returning as an ophthalmologist, she worked throughout college in many of the practice’s departments, gaining firsthand experience in nearly every aspect of patient care and clinic operations.
Ophthalmology is a family tradition for Dr. Clark. Her father worked at Vision Care of Maine, and her uncle founded the practice. Today, she continues that legacy by working alongside her cousin, Curt Young, providing comprehensive eye care to patients throughout the Bangor community.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with her husband, their two grown daughters, and their dog. She has deep roots in both the Bangor region and Aroostook County, where her family maintains a camp.
